Beyonce will launch her third fragrance, developed in partnership with
Coty, in September. Classified as a floral-citrus-gourmand, it is called
Pulse and includes top notes of pear blossom, frozen bergamot and Blue Curacao liqueur. The heart features Bluebird orchid (for the first time used in a fragrance), peony and midnight blooming jasmine. The base is made with Madagascar vanilla, musk and precious woods.
Pulse is dedicated to Beyonce's favorite flower: orchid. Here's what the singer had to share with ELLE magazine: "Pulse represents the woman I am on stage. When I think about excitement, it makes me think about my heart racing and a pulsating beat—it’s my stage persona. Women always tell me that my music makes them feel strong and confident, and Pulse is about finding that inner power.”
