11 Movies To Look Forward To This Summer

Bad Teacher starring Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake, Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz' legs. "A comedy centered around a foul-mouthed, junior high teacher who, after being dumped by her sugar daddy, begins to woo a colleague -- a move that pits her against a well-loved teacher." Bad Teacher is in US theaters now.  






Horrible Bosses is an upcoming comedy with a star-studded cast, including Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman, Kevin Spacey, Colin Farrell, Jamie Foxx, Donald Sutherland.

"Three friends conspire to murder their awful bosses when they realize they are standing in the way of their happiness." The movie opens in the US on July 8.





Midnight in Paris is Woody Allen's new film and it has been getting great reviews since it first premiered at this year's Cannes Film Festival on May 11th. The breezy romantic comedy is about "a family traveling to the French capital for business. The party includes a young engaged couple forced to confront the illusion that a life different from their own is better."

The movie stars Owen Wilson, Marion Cotillard, Rachel McAdams, Kathy Bates, Michael Sheen, Adrien Brody and Carla Bruni.




Cowboys & Aliens, directed by Jon Favreau, stars Olivia Wilde, Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford. The movie will hit US theaters July 29th. Jon Favreau’s Cowboys & Aliens is based on the graphic novel by Fred Van Lente.

Synopsis: A spaceship arrives in Arizona, 1873, to take over the Earth, starting with the Wild West region. A posse of cowboys are all that stand in their way. 




Friends with Benefits is the upcoming romantic comedy starring Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake, who also need to hook up in real life already.

"While trying to avoid the clichés of Hollywood romantic comedies, Dylan (Timberlake) and Jamie (Kunis) soon discover however that adding the act of sex to their friendship does lead to complications." Friends With Benefits opens in the US on July 22nd.





Crazy, Stupid, Love is the upcoming movie from the directors of I Love You Phillip Morris and it stars Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Julianne Moore, Steve Carell, Marisa Tomei and Kevin Bacon.

With such a cast, I'm definitely sold, but honestly they had me at Ryan Gosling. Have you seen the way he looks in this movie? HELLO? HOT LIKE FYAH. The movie hits US theaters July 29th.





One Day is the film adaptation of the eponymous novel by David Nicholls (2009). Each chapter covers the lives of two protagonists on 15 July, for twenty years. The movie stars Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess and it opens in the US on August 19.

"After spending the night together on the night of their college graduation Dexter and Emma are revisited each year on the same date to see where they are in their lives. They are sometimes together, sometimes not, on that day."





The Help is a movie based on one of the most talked about books in years, Kathryn Stockett‘s best-selling novel of the same name. The film stars Emma Stone,Viola Davis, Bryce Dallas Howard and Octavia Spencer and tells the story of "three very different, extraordinary women in Mississippi during the 1960s, who build an unlikely friendship around a secret writing project that breaks societal rules and puts them all at risk. From their improbable alliance a remarkable sisterhood emerges, instilling all of them with the courage to transcend the lines that define them, and the realization that sometimes those lines are made to be crossed—even if it means bringing everyone in town face-to-face with the changing times."

US release date: August 10.





The Whistleblower stars Rachel Weisz as Nebraska cop Kathryn Bolkovac who takes a one-year contract serving as a peacekeeper in post-war Bosnia, where she outs the U.N. for covering up cases of sex trafficking.

Co-starring: Monica Bellucci, Vanessa Redgrave, David Strathairn. It will open in limited distribution on August 5.





The Change-Up is an upcoming romantic comedy, starring Olivia Wilde, Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman.

"A comedy in which a married guy switches bodies with his best friend in order to woo his co-worker." The new movie comes from the director of Wedding Crashers and the writers of The Hangover, and it will hit US theaters August 5.





Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 "The end begins as Harry, Ron, and Hermione return to Hogwarts to find and destroy the final horcruxes. But when Voldemort finds out about their mission, the battle we've all known has been coming -- Harry vs. Voldemort -- looms large on the horizon."

It will premiere in London, UK on July 7 and a week later in the US and Romania.
