Zoe Saldana is featured in the September 2011 issue of GQ Magazine. The actress talks about her new movie, Colombiana, and described herself as “a feminine tomboy” growing up : “I had my plastic swords, my ninja stars, but I still wore lipstick.”
On what roles she is drawn to: “It gets pretty boring when all you are is the support system for a male character. I want to be in the small percentage of women who don’t settle for conventional roles.”
