On life outside of Hollywood: “Did I say my life was wonderful? As glamorous as it seems - putting on your make-up and high heels - I think the moment you go home and slip into your pajamas, that’s reality, everything else is suspended.”
On fame: “I think it’s a curiosity issue. ‘How did she get so lucky?’ At the end of the day it can’t just be about luck - you have to know how to use that luck - I don’t go about thinking I’m going to get lucky every single time.”
On being selective with her work: “I’ve said no to quite a few offers, even though my agents have suggested otherwise; contrary to rumors that I take up everything that comes my way.”
