Rihanna & Coldplay: Making of 'Princess of China' Video - WATCH

Coldplay's new video Princess of China, featuring Rihanna is set to premiere very soon, but until then we get a first glimpse behind the scenes, thanks to this 'making of' video, which you can watch below. Coldplay singer, Chris Martin, has revealed that Princess of China is his favorite song from the band's latest album, Mylo Xyloto.

Martin told MTV that the band were shocked when Rihanna agreed to duet on the song: 'In like a dream scenario, we had a song that I'd secretly kind of written to see if Rihanna would want to sing it. And then the rest of the band wanted to keep it, so we came up with the idea of asking her to sing it with us, and, to our great surprise, she said OK.' Martin added that he wasn't concerned how fans would react to RiRi appearing on the track and said he was always striving to push musical boundaries: 'Well, her bit on our record is my favourite bit. When the song came out, it sort of asked for her to be on it. And I think at this point, we have nothing to lose, and so we've been trying some new things and trying to break down the perceived boundaries between different types of music.'
