Rita Ora for Glamour UK January 2013

On meeting Beyonce: She was my idol and suddenly there we were, sitting down together. She was the nicest, gentlest, most humble woman. There’s something really calming about talking to her. She gave me the best piece of advice anyone’s ever given me about this job – ‘Keep your family close’.”

On love scaring her: “I think it’s my only weakness. I’m scared of letting my guard down, and if I fell in love with someone now, he’d have to try ten times harder to break it down.”

On if anyone tired to change her image: “I never even let them have a conversation with me about it. I’m not interested in other people’s opinions about my clothes. I don’t believe in this idea that you have to look a certain way to be famous.”
