Mila Kunis for Marie Claire UK April 2013

On her career: “I don’t think I can do this three-movies-a-year thing. It’s too much. There comes a point in your life where you want to be…home. I want to explore other parts of this industry to see what aspects of it I can get myself into, so that I can…work out of home maybe? Like producing. Then I can have, like, a life, in one location.”

On how her life has changed: “To say my life hasn’t changed would be a lie. It has changed, I don’t really know how. I can’t complain, nor am I complaining, but I can’t leave my house as freely as I used to. But I’ve also traveled a lot for work, so that’s changed. I have been very lucky.”

On life after That ’70s Show: “When ’70s ended I went on a mission to prove everybody wrong. I read for movies I would never do. I auditioned for everything, just to show I could do it. I needed to prove I was capable of doing things other than – forget comedy – other than a TV show.”

On growing up watching her parents work to live: "Living to work isn't healthy. Now I'm learning to work and live, and want to have fun with it. My parents are my heroes."
