Exclusively for Printemps, Prada has designed a range inspired by red roses, including a floral printed leather bag, and red crystal necklaces and hair accessories, which will be available from November 7. The collection is bursting with prints, with a black and white checkerboard nod to Milan's historic Prada store, behind an exclusive image of the Prada woman, herself in a geometric print blouse, and a more Baroque Prada motif is found on a silk scarf , a music box, or even an advent calendar. Inside the department store, the atrium is set to be transformed into the iconic Galleria boutique in Milan, originally opened in 1913 by Miuccia Prada's grandfather Mario, where the Printemps limited editions will go on sale. The "Joyeuse Obsession" continues into the line itself, with gold and silver baubles used in the Prada jewelry pieces that feature in the eleven window displays designed in collaboration with the label. Slippers left under the Christmas tree are replaced by the Italian brand's iconic shoe designs, while 80 teddy bears dressed in miniature Prada clothes and 150 luminous stars and snowflakes will bring an Italian fairyland to 64 Boulevard Haussman.
