Tom Ford Velvet Orchid: New Fragrance for Women

Tom Ford will launch Velvet Orchid, a new fragrance for women. Described as "distinctive and timeless", the new scent includes notes of rose oil, jasmine and a new accord of purple orchid. Tom Ford Velvet Orchid will be available in luxurious purple bottles of 50 ml and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

The fragrance opens with bergamot, mandarin, Succan absolute (purified rum extract) and honey. The heart is made of an imaginary accord of black orchid blended with notes of velvet orchid, with intense Turkish rose oil and jasmine and a new accord of purple orchid that grows in the wilds of southern Brazilian coast. There are also additional floral notes of orange blossom, rose absolute, narcissus, hyacinth and heliotrope. The base notes are Peru balsam, myrrh, labdanum, sandalwood, suede and vanilla.
